Motorcity bros by ShiroiAngelz Motorcity bros by ShiroiAngelz
I watched Motorcity and hoped I didn't put my shipping goggles on. I was wrong. So very wrong.

Great drawing. But God-freaking-DAMMIT did Chuck piss me off. I just wanted to slap him every time he screamed. If Titmouse do get the licence back from Disney and they revive the show alongside Megas, Chuck needs to grow a spine and stop screaming like a bitch every 5 seconds.

That's kind of a mean thing to say. But then again I rarely hate characters... From my view point Chuck is just like any one of us, an ordinary person thrown into one hell of a world with people far more skilled and 'abnormal' than us. Granted his reaction can be exaggerated but if I 0were in his shoes, I'd be scared too. They are thrown into a life and death situation after all.

Yeah, but he's been doing this for like 2 years. He should be used to all this shit by now. And if he doesn't like, he should just stay at home and help. He do the same jobs just as well in the car as he can out of it.

And then there are Texas & Toolie. Julie even asked Mike why they kept Tex around. But he never gave an answer. He's nothing but a third wheel. Constantly coming up with stupid ideas and being a complete and utter douche-nozzle to everyone else. I'd get him replaced with some hired muscle who actually shuts up and does what he's told when he's told to do it. And with what little dialogue he's given, either make him come up with some great dry humor or just make him badass. Kind of like Happy from Sons of Anarchy.

As for Toolie, he makes me want to coat a screwdriver in salt and use it to stab him in the eyeballs. I hate him that much. Why does Kane keep that dumbass around when he constantly fucks up? A monkey could do better than him. A monkey would shut the fuck up and do as he's told. A monkey wouldn't constantly screw things up since he knows he's dead if he fails. It's like Pinky & the Brain, for Christ's sake. Speaking of which, in case you haven't seen it already, watch this video and tell me this doesn't make you feel incredibly satisfied.

Now imagine Kane & Toolie in that same situation. Suddenly, you want that to happen now, don't you?

Also, sorry for unloading my anger out onto a complete stranger. I'm actually a really nice, calm & patient guy most of the time. But if something like this pisses me off, I never hold back or sugar coat it. I tell it like it is.

idk about toolie but it's a rule of cartoon really that the big bosses will always kept a fuck up around and i'm guessing it's because these said fuck ups are the most loyal really.

I don't really feel that much want to strangle a cartoon character, unless it's a very very morally screwed up person,  honestly so I cannot empathize with how you feel about them. Though I will agree that seeing the same behaviour over and over again without any development whatsoever is irritating. Though I do recall Chuck is meant to be sorta a reference to Shaggy and Scooby Doo since they have always been cowards who for some reason still stick with the mystery gang despite how much they hate being around the 'paranormal'.

And it's alright! Sometimes looking at other's reasons for their anger at certain things tend to shed some light to the subject as opposed to those who just blindly insult and hate without saying why.

Yeah, but you'd think he'd have a good reason to keep him around other than being a punching bag. How can a man of Kane's intelligence (allegedly) employ someone so dense, he can't follow a simple order like 'watch this guy and don't talk to him'. Seriously, they could at least get someone (as I said before) like Happy. Quiet, loyal and obedient. It makes for a cool dude. Not some clown who can't tell the difference between a party from a zombie apocalypse. I swear he's mentally retarded. He makes Forrest Gump look like a genius.

Cartoon or not, you can have feelings for any fictional character. For Chuck, grow some balls. Tex, grow a brain. And Toolie, get cut from the show entirely. Seriously, can't he do one fucking thing right? Has he ever done anything right?

I hate it when people making cartoons decide to create retarded, obnoxious characters just because they want to make it obvious for the kids. Making someone quiet and tough is cool. Someone who's a dumb, arrogant prick is not. It's annoying. Especially if, as you said, they don't develop past it. It's a bad song on a broken record.

Sorry, I just need to vent.

I definitely have grown attachments to certain cartoon characters before but well I don't really have much for the motorcity characters so perhaps my feeling about this is not as strong. I tend to not like it when people hate characters though since I prefer not to judge and spread hatred around but hey if they grate your teeth it just means that they are the type of people you do NOT want to have around. At least that's how I see it.

I'd like to end this as I fear it getting too long winded for the both of us but thanks for your input!

Sorry. I guess hating on infuriating characters has become a pet peeve of mine. Besides, Motorcity doesn't have characters THAT interesting anyway. You want character, watch FMA: Brotherhood.

Yeah. That's a good idea. Nice talking.
